What happened to Kazuki Nakajima? He is not listed as driver for the Toyota. He showed that he has what it takes at Silverstone.

If he isn't listed, perhaps he is participating in a SuperGT race and 1 week won't be enough time for him to be rested. I don't know.

Kaz is young so fitness not too much of an issue so maybe they choose to sit him out? Too bad. Exciting to watch.

There is no direct conflict with SuperGT and the WEC at Interlagos as far as the calendars go

Yes, I realize that, which is why I said 1 week . Super GT at Fuji (Toyota's home track, Nakajima a Toyota driver) is this weekend. Brazil is next. If he races in Super GT, which I assume he will, 1 week may not be enough time for him to get accustomed to Interlagos with the TS030. Just my speculation!

This race will be very interesting in P1 as the turbo-diesel engined Audi does not lose as much performance as the N/A petrol engine in the Toyota. Having said that, the Toyota's rear-drive hybrid layout suits Interlagos' heavy traction zones.

Its possible Kaz said he did not want to do the race. Does he have any particulalry bad memories of Brazil in the Williams . Maybe like Jenson being ambushed...

Subaru, there are LMP1s from TWO factories this time, whereas there were only the Peugeots in 2007, so that's good.

Don't be sad, that's the best option (the WEC site that is). No commercial breaks, RLM commentary, live timing - all of it, conveniently on the same page of your web browser

Indeed, that is why I watch the stream instead. I prefer the better coverage to clear resolution.

It would be dandy but I have a 12" laptop On top of it, last time around the stream stopped for periods of times and I had to go to dailymotion. At least I can watch it though.

After Silverstone, there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of buzz about this one. Hopefully it'll be a good race but honestly for me, finding out next year's schedule will probably be the most interesting part of the weekend.
