Hot Topic Darwin Triple Crown

While we freeze in the southern states the V8 circus has escaped to the tropical north .

Race 1 bit of a demo derby at the start, took out a few contenders and a few pretenders.

Looks like Brad Jones run over several black cat’s on the way to the circuit!

Mr Percat who is not replacing Jamie at 888, will be slipping into Repco to buy a new tyre pressure gauge first up today.

Tyre pressure gate could be an interesting development over Sunday.

Either the tyre pressure was under the minimum requirement or it was not.

Did Chad get removed from the commentary booth at the last minute to be replaced by Tander?

The intention was that they were sharing the role over the weekend.

Percat keeps his podium finish, but BJR lose the points from the teams championship. BJR notified and worked with Adrian Burgess to check if there was a problem with the tyres. No doubt several teams will not be happy with the verdict.

Shell Fords just don't have the pace of the Red Bull Holdens in race trim. Cars or drivers?

Commentary of the 2nd Darwin race was the best I've heard in a long time. Sorry Crompo, but Garth Tander brought a breath of fresh air into the booth and there was real racing commentary and no blabla.

In my opinion, regardless of who won what race, it was a great weekend of racing plus they need Garth and Marcus as commentator all the time

Wow SVG is caning them. If not for the wheelnut drama he would have won all 3 in a canter.
