Thought the penalty for Rick was stiff. The difference between Fabs and Scotty is large, no?

Would seem so, if it's taking RBR this long to get their heads around the single spring.

In prior years, a new chassis or two may have shown up by now, and been the panacea...

Whincup now reckons they can't get their brakes to work correctly.

Out of all things, this seems particularly strange?

Do you know the Gary Nineker quote:
"Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win."

That reminds me on Supercars:
"26cars are racing and at the end, McLaughlin alsways wins"

Methinks come endurance season both car #97 and #88/888 will be brand new.

Car 88 was new at the start of the year, but Whincup seems to get more new chassis than others. Whincup's car from 2018 has become the #35 car for 2019.
Car 97 was new at the start of 2018, so it is due to be the next one to be replaced.

The DTM has some strange rules too

Like allowing wheels to spin while the car is still on the jacks during a pitstop.

There must be a support group for DTM mechanics that have lost fingers in such circumstances.

Was out there yesterday.

The wind was bitterly cold. The carpark was half-empty (the same carpark we were stuck in for an hour and a half last year...) Food was excellent but the racing was dullsville.

When the highlight is Andre belting into poor Simona in front of us, you know things are grim.

Luckily the schnitzels in the German Arms in Hahndorf on the way back to Adelaide last night were spectacular!!

Was out there all weekend. Sunday wasn't to bad weather wise, Saturday was nearly as cold as anything I've sat through at Bathurst, it was horrible. Their appeared to be more campers out there this year but not as many people, the novelty factor having worn off I guess. There were lots more food stalls and dunnies. But Supercars were boring a bats__t. Mates I was with didn't bother going back out on Sunday. The best racing of the weekend was the Super3's and the historic's.

All of the support categories put on good racing. At least from the comfort of the couch.
