Did anyone else get desync from both streams?
Anyway, great finish with O'Connell taking the win with a last-lap pass at the top of the track to deny Cindric a (maiden?) victory from pole. |

A fantastic race, though. Bummed as I am for Cindric, that pass for the lead was great. Clean racing from both drivers, Johnny O showing his experience and taking the win. Great stuff. Championship wise, only 5 points now separate Long and Parente, with Cooper a further 38 back. (Long: 1461, Parente: 1456, Cooper: 1418) Parente will start 2nd tomorrow, Cooper 5th, and Long way back in 14th, by my count. |

GTS Race 1 should be starting in less than fifteen minutes. Hugh Plumb is on pole with the #12 ANSA XBOW.

Both races today were great fun to watch! what a drive by Nate Stacy in the GTS race. I didn't think that he was going to be able to hold off the Xbows or the Ginetta. GTS has really put on some wild, action packed races this year.
The GT race certainly didn't disappoint either. So close for Cindric but Johnny O'Connell illustrated once again why he is a racing legend! The GT championship is really heating up also. Parente is now only 5 points adrift of Pat Long. |

Brilliant race management by Nate Stacy. The GTS race was as entertaining as the GT one!
Nice write up on both races: http://motorsports.nbcsports.com/201...-from-cindric/ |

Fifteen minutes until the GTS Race 2 stream starts. http://world-challenge.com/streamvideo/
Martin Barkey had the fastest race lap yesterday, but has been moved to the back of the grid as a result of the contact with Brett Sandberg. Sandberg and Stacy will be starting on the front row. |

GT Race 2 live stream should be starting in less than 10 minutes:
http://world-challenge.com/streamvideo/ https://www.motortrendondemand.com/ Cindric and Parente are starting in row 1, O'Connell and Fogarty in Row 2, Cooper and Lewis in Row 3. |

What a weekend for Johnny O! Super aggressive on the start, after which he pretty well ran away and hid.
Lot's of action farther back though, especially from Pat Long. Fantastic drive through the field, except the pass on Micheal Lewis which was not cool. He pushed him right off the track. Credit to Lewis being able to continue more or less unfazed. Championship battle goes to Laguna Seca, ridiculously close. |

Plenty of action in that one.
Johnny O pretty much had the measure of the field. Good race for KPAX/Lizards, double podium with Parente and Cindric, and Parente should head into Sonoma with a slight 9 point lead. And huge congrats to Mike on another podium! Per Jon Fogarty on Twitter, he lost a valve stem in the T1 battle for second, which resulted in the flat tire & spin. Quote:
https://twitter.com/stephenVking/sta...03372572553216 Looks like Parente really was lucky on that one, Fogarty spinning right in front of him and Cooper actually hitting him from behind. Bad race for the #8, and a big hit to Cooper's Championship hopes. As for Long pushing Michael Lewis off, I really hope PWC reviews it. Way overaggressive, looks like he left Lewis no room at all. Jerk move. |
