Hello, folks! Welcome to the Championship Fight special stage of the 2014 Bet 'Em IndyContest. There's only two races left, but Fontana carries double points, so the current standings may still change dramatically.

You must pick five different drivers and a manufacturer:

Five betters cashed $ 9,000 for betting on Power winning the championship. NaBUru38 picked him for the top 3 and earned $ 1,500, whereas Icemachine and WAT got $ 2,000 for selecting Castroneves.

For the top 5, four betters selected Montoya and another two selected Dixon, so they got $ 1,000. For the top 10, everyone but Icemachine earned $ 1,000.

For the top 15, four betters earned $ 1,000 for picking Newgarden or Wilson, and three betters got $ 600 for picking Hinchcliffe or Kimball. Everyone got $ 600 for Chevrolet's drivers championship.

Congratulations to WAT for winning the 2014 IndyContest. Burp took second place in the season earnings and got the Rookie of the Year award.

I on the other hand had more competition than in 2012 and 2013, and my experience wasn't enough to beat newcmers like DRT and Icemachine.

2013 champion MTAR had poor Championship Fight bets too and that cost a few places in the standings. Marcostraz, another veteran, had bad finish at round 15 Fontana and was last among full-timers.

It's interesting to see Huertas, Conway and Bourdais having high earnings. Carpenter was very effective, as he only competed at six races and Indy qualifying. Casoneves won only once, therefore he is 11th.

These results can be understood as a way to rank my predictions, that is to determine which drivers I overrate and underrate. Huertas, Conway and Rahal had excessively high stakes (underrated), whereas Pagenaud, Andretti and Castroneves had excessively low stakes (overrated).

They can be used as well to see which drivers overperformed (Montoya, Kanaan, Muñoz) and which underperformed (Kimball, Hinchcliffe, Newgarden).

Had quite a few high-odds bets that were close but no cigar(Bourdais podium at Indy GP, Bell top 10 at Indy 500, Kanaan win at Pocono and Iowa). But still managed to win in the end nevertheless.
