Agreed, personally I favour FORD. Tasman for HOLDEN. I've got mates that may follow them now, although they wear the old TKR red gear with pride... My call for SBR/PCR is just this fans attempt to put some $$$ BACK in their pockets, as thanks for their unpaid help so far with "the dream".

The UK teams you mention dont seem to have been as adversly infected by "the style" IMO.

BACK to the All Blacks Pstar?
We never left them, Multi cultural over here bro and Multi talented as well, Kiwis "can do"...Look down pit lane...
Something some of us ignored when "your bro" set up his enterprise over here...was his State of Origin you could say.

"Underarm style"... yeah... I'd forgotten that, is it something you are proud of?

Kiwi dream dead?...It will not be over till its over
or as some wag keeps posting "the fat lady sings"
Pstar it will be the awakening from a nightmare...for some...
And it could possibly make a book...Sandy M...Rat...
Nah... no book deals I think...success sells...History has this story recorded well ...So Far!

ITM..Go Dean...and good luck!

There's always an upside, if you looking...
A Kiwi trait, Pstar! But not exclusive...
Bit like a Harley, If I have to explain it you still wont get it...

So your not ignoring me maybe you could share with us how the Kiwi dream is starting?

TKR is NZ based alsways has been. check out there website NZ based check out there registered address NZ based http://www.teamkiwiracing.co.nz or PO Box 12343 Penrose Auckland- New Zealand

Now PCR 18 A Computer Road Yatala QLD 4207 Australia they have no website on the V8SA website but there email addrsses are .com.au

Here is SBR http://www.stonebrothersracing.com.au PO Box 6008 Yatala QLD 4207Australia

or tasman Factory 1/ 2 John Street Dandenong VIC 3175 Australia there website is a .com website

Now of those 4 which one is a NZ team

edit just thought i would add that all those details are straight from the V8SA web site, they are in the public domain already and i would expect that they are on each teams website also

So going by this theory, If I was lucky enough to Buy the Brabham name and set up Brabham F1, based in say England , would I be able to say I am an Australian Formula 1 Team or as you have pointed out , due to geographic location I would be a British Team. Was this the same as the Greens in Indy car and Minardi in F1 etc.
just checking

fomoco, yes you would be english i reckon. if you were to set your team up based in australia and trade on that name etc even though you may build that car in england then you may be able to claim to be aussie. and the greens and stiffard are called expats. they never claimed to be aussie teams just an aussie heritage

DJJ http://www.companies.govt.nz/cms/banner_template/CNAME touche. you will notice the regular movements in this one compared ro the aussie one, you will also notice who owns it and how many shares. now who owns the Aussie company was it DJ just protecting his intellectual property? or was it some freeloader?

i am unable to find a SBR or PCR registered in NZ though, i can find them in Aust, as for tasman, cant find that in either place

For ****s and giggles.

https://www.esearch.net.au/cgi-bin/e...questId=456355

So, now that TKR was based in aus also like the other said teams you mentioned, I am trying to make sence of your argument.

You fail then try to spin it around. I feel sorry for you.

so does that mean that Evo is not a director of TKR. because i know that one company (NZ) has him as director and one doesnt (aust)

also as i said just protecting intellectual property.

I wonder who the other David John is, Dad?

Im not sure that i did fail. TKR is registered in Both countries, the others are not. team kiwi has its registered racing address in new zealand, the others do not

Most overseas owned companies who operate in australia would set up a compnay sturcture in australia

It's painfull.

Director in place because the previous was made bankrupt and can't hold that position. The owners are the shareholders.

2 different companies in oz and NZ. See how many questions you have, that is the web of TKR and lets not forget that ANZ made DJ bankrupt not everyone else that tried but a bank.

thanks so TKR are a NZ team then

David johns is still a director of the aussie company. if what you just said was true then he would no longer be a director of tyhr aussie company (to be fair they have probably forgotten)

its a not a web, its just corporate stucture, to trade in Australia they needed a corporate identity, that doesnt mean they are an aussie team though.

Clearly all the evidence points to them being NZ based

why wouldnt it be?

they still own the franchise at this stage until it is ratified. they still continue to operate as TKR

but really you are being pedantic again, your not in the spirit of the conversation, rather just pulling out a word to make an argument

I wonder when the real story will come out. The real story about David Paul John. And how he was very close to having Britek run the amazing Team Kiwi Falcon for him this year.

The 2nd Britekk licence would still have been leased to that beautiful Mr Crookshank (that is a good name, fitting) but Team Kiwi and old Brighty were gunna share a shed, share the love.

Brighty could take peeks at the 888 Ford's build, and make them his own.

It was a great deal. Set up by Britekk team partyboy Mr Chris Jewell.

Why didnt they do it? Win Win Win I would have thought

I love you David Paul John. I love you Christof Jewell. Keeping the Team Kiwi Dream alive.

I shall entitle this post "Metaphor on the Southern Motorway".

This evening driving home what should I spot but a TKR shadow car stopped on the side of the Motorway.... Had is broken down? Had it run out of gas? Had the authorities ordered it from the road?

And as Peckstar would ask, who's fault is it? (Surely it can't be the owners?)

My way by Sinatra perfect fit.

And now, the end is here
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
I've lived a life that's full
I traveled each and ev'ry highway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do and saw it through without exemption
I planned each charted course, each careful step along the byway
And more, much more than this, I did it my way

Yes, there were times, I'm sure you knew
When I bit off more than I could chew
But through it all, when there was doubt
I ate it up and spit it out
I faced it all and I stood tall and did it my way

I've loved, I've laughed and cried
I've had my fill, my share of losing
And now, as tears subside, I find it all so amusing
To think I did all that
And may I say, not in a shy way,
"Oh, no, oh, no, not me, I did it my way"

For what is a man, what has he got?
If not himself, then he has naught
To say the things he truly feels and not the words of one who kneels
The record shows I took the blows and did it my way!

Just for those lacking the sinatra music.
