Seems like Williams latest plan was to secure Rich Energy as sponsor to pay for Ocon.

Either it fell over as Haas hijacked the deal, or Rich Energy failed due diligence - depending who you believe.

Rich Energy has all the hallmarks of a nice scam going on. Who was the guy with the T-Minus brand before that scammed his way into part owning the TWR Arrows team? He was quite literally a Nigerian Prince and everything. Is he involved in this?

So this latest energy drink, Rich Energy. Owned by William John Storey. Do a little google with him and you find he's the Director of 6 different companies. Quite the busy man. Two of which have folded (alarm bells...), and two of the remaining 4 are both Rich Energy.

One of the remaining two is a technology company with the same name as one of the folded companies, and they apparently supply some of the top businesses in the world...with LED bulbs. It's also in liquidation. The remaining company of the 4 is a boxing company, which has no Google results. And where are these 4 remaining companies (including Rich Energy) being run from? A church, in England.

Is he selling bridges by any chance?

His other company, Tryfan, lists Sony, Microsoft, ING, IBM, HP, Canon, Apple, Sharp and Cisco as partners too. Even has some badly photoshopped logos on the site and everything. Turns out anyone can put logos on a website! Even has some testimonials in there - including a pub owner who said demand went up when he moved to Rich Energy. Who can doubt such a thing?

Tom Walkinshaw was just ahead of the game. He was scammed by a prince before it was cool.

Maybe the check cleared! Or if it hasn't... you just repaint the cars back to the Haas colors when it doesn't?

I will try to make this my last post on this. Especially as this is about Haas/Rich Energy and we are in the Williams thread. But yes, the entire thing seems like a scam to me. But maybe this is just how you rise up above the rest and "build your brand" It probably is funded (probably why Haas said "yes"), but probably not via organic growth. Meaning someone had deep pockets (Storey himself???) to seed this thing. So the question is... will it burn through it's funding and then disappear or will it grow?

I read the article and it says, at the start of the first paragraph: "Rich Energy’s actual product has been shrouded in a degree of mystery, with the can rarely – if ever – spotted in public." So I Googled Rich Energy and clicked on the Shopping link and nothing.

Edit: I found it on Amazon but it's currently unavailable.

If you go onto any Experian/Credit rating site, all his Companys are "maximum risk"..total net worth..minus a million or so....no assets
