If AM would go there, they should have at least a hefty amount of cash to finance and maintain that British company.

Not sure that they are actually interested in reality or if they are just after some free publicity, they are certainly getting that

especially since BBC only associates Aston Martin with the iconic Bond car

Last I heard, AML are NOT seeking any money, and the Kuwaiti Investment company who are the largest share holder have flatly denied any possibility of their selling up.

A friend who works for Jag said they wanted to maybe buy Aston as well, but that was pub talk...

According to the FT Aston Martin are looking at a significant credit downgrade due to a deteriorating liquidity picture and poor cash performance in Q3.

The article also confirms that new investors are being sought, and that if they come in that could have a positive impact on the credit rating.

Story (pay / registration wall) is at http://www.ft.com/cms/s/0/d7112174-3...#axzz2DbJAGGET

It seems InvestIndustrial have some sort of 'win'? The thought of Astons running German underpinnings isn't as bad as when it first happened, but I'd still like to think Aston could make their own powerplants?
