And on a positive note. Jamie Mac is the most underrated RP driver.

And as if we didn't all know it already, Jimmie Johnson is indeed the golden child, touched by the gods. Really close to being involved in both wrecks but as usual turned a crappy day into a relatively good one in terms of points.

I'm staying true to my word, which is not watching the last 3 races. See you guys next year at Daytona.

Worst race of the year.
Nascar has made a farce of racing. |

You enjoyed the tub more Seriously though, I think this was the final nail in the coffin for me and Nascar viewing.

MJ and i have both been threatening, but i seriously know i will not be back next week...scheduling conflicts and all. and the fact that the 48 has already got THEIR hands firmly on the Cup.
and i don't think we can blame Brad K for this Big One. he got a "bump draft" from Vicky, sending him into the 2. can't blame Vicky either. both quick at the end and it is what it is and it was what it was. i blame Big Bill France for ever building such a place. |

I don;t understand how anyone can say that was a bad race. Sure, 1/3 was dull single file, but the other 2/3 were pure action. Personally I love plate racing. It is just about the only thing in nascar that gets me as excited as open wheel racing. It is pure action and wonderful spectacle. It's all luck and driver skill, and it is amazing to watch.

As a "newbie" that is here following my man John Paul, I will watch the rest of the Chase as I celebrate the fact that JPM has come of age in NASCAR and is enjoying the ride with gusto and having fun. Once I start learning more about this sport, I'll start *****ing like the rest of you. |
