This is where V8SA and more reputable sporting bodies differ. |

I've got no problem with each day counted separately. I don't expect the organizer to sit there and figure out 100,000 different people's schedules, this guy went that day, but not that day, but then came the next day, blah blah. There is no other realistic way to count it, other than the way they do. |

As Mountainstar pointed out, bit hard to do it any other way. |

I vote replacing all rugby venues with race tracks.

Update as of today:
http://www.radionz.co.nz/news/region...l-for-auckland Auckland Council is poised to sign a $10 million deal that will bring a round of the Australian V8 Supercar championship back New Zealand. The decision is expected on Thursday with a council report saying the country's biggest motorsport crowd-puller will bring economic benefits. A provisional deal involves the council contributing $2.1 million per year, alongside funding from the Government and the event promoter. Hamilton City Council dumped the event after poor management and unexpected costs left its ratepayers well out of pocket. But Auckland Mayor Len Brown says staging the event for five years at Pukekohe will bring $7 million per year in return for the investment. |

There was an interview earlier with Tony Cochrane on Radio Sport which can be found here (starts at about 2/3 through the first clip).
