The C4 coverage is 2 minutes on Trans World Sport most likely, not the 52 min program they state. There was no coverage of Monza.

What does "52-min highlights" (of 2 30-min races) mean?

It means the programme fits into a one-hour slot, which with ads means the programme will be 52 minutes.

But read Alfa Fans comments as he will most likely be right.

C4 have been showing a fair amount of motorsport hidden away in the wee small hours - BSB, WSB, ASCAR - so was hoping this meant they were showing WTCC as well.

redshoes... go out and get the basic Sky package... Eurosport will be free and you can also pay someone to press Record when the races actually start - or set it according to the TV Times, if you have a LONG tape !!

As for C4 - I still haven't heard when the races will be shown...

If you're always out at weekends and don't want to buy Sky, ask a friend to record the WTCC Mag midweek after the event... I have usually corrected all my mistakes (well, most of them) by then PLUS you get to hear it from the horse's mouth, with driver interviews...

And we try to put some racing in as well, just for good measure

MOTORING: World Touring Car Championships
Channel: Channel 4 04
Date: Tuesday 17th May 2005
Time: 01:45 to 02:40
Duration: 55 minutes.
Monza in Italy plays host to the first World Touring Car Championship since 1987. After winning the European Touring Car Championship last year, BMW enters the fray with three national teams including BMW UK, led by last year's championship winning driver Andy Priaulx. Six manufacturers, including Alfa Romeo, are represented as they do battle on the toughest circuit in the championship at Monza. Other drivers to watch are the German Dirk Muller and Antonio Garcia of Spain, both driving for BMW, and the Alfa Romeo pairing of Gabriele Tarquini of Italy and the Brazilian Augusto Farfus Junior. With commentary from Martin Avon and David Leslie.
That's Tuesday as in after midnight Monday just in case you can't find it in the listings.

Who's this Martin Avon bloke ?

At least Channel 4 have given it a slot, sure the timing could be a lot better but if the viewing figures go up then perhaps the coverage of the series will too. And besides, those of us with a VCR, or Sky Plus dont really have a problem do we. If u have Sky Plus just watch the programme when u want! If u dont, just set the timer on the VCR, it really isnt difficult!

I'm glad to see that C4 has given coverage but I also read on u.tv that TV3 are showing coverage on Sunday mornings from 11:30-12:30. Last week it was not on but this week I have some hope for it.

Speed DOES carry WTCC... has done for several years with the ETCC... might well be hidden in the depths of something, so scrutinise the listings... or email them and ask...

It's not live... but it is there somewhere... with that Martin Avon bloke and David Leslie

the stream is fine, the transport is rock solid, 247K all the way! Just at 247k with audio and visual is a little too blocky when full screen

Start checking Speed in late Nov/early Dec/06. They broadcast the DTM/BTCC/WTCC/JGTC during the late Fall/early Spring every year.
