‘We’ve been rail-roaded,’ say Scuderia Ecosse

Scuderia Ecosse have questioned the tactics of title favourites AF Corse going into today's FIA GT qualifiers in Adria, Italy. The Lothians-based outfit head into the penultimate round with driver Andrew Kirkaldy hoping to extend his pole position record to eight.
Despite Scuderia's victory in Budapest last time, factory outfit AF Corse look likely to claim the GT2 championship, but team principal Stewart Roden believes the Italians have muscled them out of the title.
Roden said: "Corse see us as a real threat and they know they have to get us out of the way within the first two laps. We've been rail-roaded and it has cost us the championship, basically."
lScotland's Gordon Shedden could crown his first season in the British Touring Car championship this weekend with the title at Silverstone tomorrow. Favourite for the title, though, is Matt Neal, Shedden's Team Halfords colleague, who leads Seat's Jason Plato by 35 points going into the final three races of the season at the tight National Circuit.Halfords are also favourites to win the constructors championship.

Exactly - that whole article managed to say nothing in about 328 words. Though given its the Herald, its not a surprise. Even the Sun and the Mirror know more about balanced reporting than the Herald.

It seems to me that Kirkaldy can have an accident all on his own, start line at Mugello, last lap of qualifying in Hungary and now whilst leading at Adria.
