The session had been red-flagged as Bruni went off. Ferrari do the early running again...

Only a few tenths ahead of Davidson's BAR, and 6 tenths up on Montoya.

So Ant's done it again...third behind the two Ferraris. How many times is that this season? If this guy doesn't get a full time drive, FI will be missing out on a real talent!

Fantastic!! Speed is doing a 4 hour show today. Steve Matchett just did a piece from the Ferrari garage with Ross Brawn. They went over the F2004, even took the engine cover off! An incredible piece of machinery. No wonder they are a step ahead!

My God, the piece with Nigel Stepney, behind the garage at Ferrari. WOW!!!! Why don't they have coverage like this all the time!

They are obviously pulling out all the stops to get Americans interested in F1. 40 tons of material Ferrari brings all the way to North America. They even bring their own autoclaves! And that bank of computers to follow the telemetry was incredible. I also like the little towers, full of headsets and ear protection. So clean, so organized... So... EXPENSIVE.

Thanks for the info, k-b. It's a shame to have that kind of thing happen in practice.
Interestingly, Ross Brawn talked about Takuma's move on Barichello at GP Europe in the press conference yesterday. He was on about how it is the passing driver's responsibility to make sure the car he is overtaking sees him and is aware of the move. I'm certainly not trying to give any blame in this practice incident to Sato by any means, especially as I didn't even see it, but I just find the coincidence interesting... |
