They are close, but Ferrari went for a two stopper last race compared to the others, so they don't always chase pole.

yes, that's true. You can overtake at Indy more than other places aswell, that's what led me to them 3 stopping.

Toyota went light in qualifying last year... I think Panis lined up 3rd for the start. The U.S. is a big market for Toyota, so they need their 15 minutes of fame infront of the yanks.

Good point, but I don't think they'd comprimise the race too much in the next session. We didn't get to see how real it was because of the conditions.

The Toyota engine is meant to be pretty good so it should help on the straight.

i think sauber is going for different setting on their cars . Massa with low downforce and Fisico with high .. and i think Toyota could do the same ..
