David Addison stated it was when the race starts, in which case, for a brief 50 seconds or so he will be championship leader - and has the chance to extend his lead simply by leading lap 1.

Agreed - would love to see a new winner but I don't think he can hold off Ingram and the others behind him.

Hill is up there as well so in a good position for R3 perhaps?

a) he will spin himself
b) he will be given a shove by Tingram or the works Hondas
c) he will be passed cleanly by one of those above
d) Colin Turkington will pass him clean and win the race
e) he will do a bad start and don't even manage to lead the first corner

Anyone got any sauce for this hat I'm eating?!

Really didn't expect the Hondas to do so well. They really must have been holding back at Donington as they didn't look fast at all during the test session.

Maybe just maybe they can bring the fight to the RWD's!

I dont expect the RWD cars to be fast at Brands. Too cool and the track itself doesnt really play into their strengths.

It says what the point is awarded for, but not when it is awarded.

'One additional point will be awarded to the driver who starts on Pole Position for the First Race of each Meeting.'

I fear that the Hondas will have many opportunities later in the season to complain about speed and RWD advantage, but Brands Indy is rarely one of them.
