Chris,

With any luck my team should be able to make it up for at least one NW round. But as they all have real jobs and other commitments asking them to do more and more weekends may be a problem, so I am just looking at options. If Team ULAN feel like stepping in to the run siwft for a race if my regular guys can't make it great !. It maywell be easy for me to hire a car up your neck of the woods and just do that if I have spare cash. Don't suppose there is an RF04 going spare or a yellow RF90.

Anyway, send me the numbers so I can be ready for the rounds I have spare cash for.

Diz,
serious question.
Do you run any double headers? I would be interested to come up for a double and make a weekend of it, that way the first race can be the test

thanks

Matt

Matt, Didn't have a DH at Oulton last year, but did the year before, in fact it was a triple header for Post86, as they lost a race earlier in the season. Anglesey tends to be DH.
Should know the calendar by the Autosport Show

No championship in any type of car is easy. NW FF1600 is no different. If you are about to start racing, you will be on a major learning curve. It is very much learn to walk before you run.

Matt,
He is Alan Pike. He won Class A in NW FF1600 a couple of years ago in a Swift92. As far as I know, his Zetec experience is confined to running a one off hire drive in Monoposto at an Anglesey meeting which NW FF were at. I think he might have won it.
Be advised, he likes to wind people up - as you might have already gathered. Now he has discovered TT, we will probably all suffer. Deep down he is a nice lad though.

Is that a Porky Pikey?
I thought you once pedalled a Black Dog Zetec at Anglesey - only just managing to see off an 89 Reynard
Wasn't it the weekend that you broke just about everything you sat in?

Alan I will put £50 on you winning the NWFF champs next year.....as you will be one of only 3 drivers in the new post 96 class which is new for next year.

Well why did you tell people you have in other threads?
Slight correction to "seem to remember winning four races that day in different bits of kit " should read
"seem to remember winning four races that weekend in cars with different bits falling off" and the odd or ten.

I may not be running my Cossie next season & might have a crack at a couple of single seater races...

Are there any good arrive'n'drive type teams in the NWFF1600 series ??

Yes, Goforit - there are people who can do this for you and you would be very welcome. There's a list on www.brsccnw.com I think it's in Ian Smiths section. Any problems - pm me and I will do what I can to help you.

who the hell is this this bluenose guy.

Rude to people he's never met, tell varying degrees of information on various outings he's made, and then forgets what he's said in another thread and changes it in the next, then makes a ballsy statment that he will win the championship. (I quite like that)

If he doesn't win, I have book marked his threads to re-post and make large ammount of fun at towards the end of the season.
