Whatever happens, Gil will finish 6th. He seems to ALWAYS finish 6th. If he finishes.

Bad news for the field. Fernandez has qualified 16th. Since no one inside the top 10 in qualifying has yet to win this year, it looks good for Fernandez to win his unprecedented third Motegi.

The race is on at 11:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time - which means it's probably on about 5:30 a.m. in England. But that's a guess, based on it being "live".

I am going to take a nap before it comes on. I want to be awake to see Gil as long as his car holds together ... *sigh*

Look for Mikey to be really pressing hard as he is pointless (in the literal as well as the figurative sense) so far and will be trying to cure this problem. WATCHOUTPAUL!!!
