Gaz should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Kerr back for Brands!

Don't know if this has been noted anywhere else but outgoing champ Robbie Kerr will be out in the Lola-Dome at Brands Hatch next weekend for ADR.

Makes for one hell of an interesting weekend. With Hamilton out for the first time, Kerr back and the Scholarship battle yet to be decided I can't wait!

How do we reckon he will go? I know he tested at Snett last week but I havn't seen any times yet

Robbie is a Brands specialist - he would be quick there in a bathchair. He will be mega.

True, Three times was it he won last year? And he won in Scholarship the year before. Considering Adam Carroll was managing to get that thing into the top 10 before he left and considering the amount of work Robbie has done on it over the summer surely we should be expecting him to run strongly in the top 10.

Itll be interesting see how the Lola is in a 'fair' state. Championship winning team, championship winning driver, track expert, and a summer of development.

It will be interesting. I think it should need a full year to be competitive, personally.

They should give up now then. Spend the remaining time figuring out what works and what doesnt, map the performance curve of the car, and apply the productive information to the 2005 design. Thats going to take some investment and faith from Lola though. But they've been here before. Anyone who's watched CART over the latter part of the 90s knows someday the Lola-Dome will be the car to have in F3

Russ,
don't agree with your comparison: CART cars were LOLA; F3 are now called Lola-Dome, cos both firms made this joint-venture up, but from a technical and manufacture point of view, they are 100% Dome: the japanese designed and produced the cars, starting from the Dallara F302 they had run in 2002 with their own squad.
Lola, infact, are only entrusted the spare parts distribution, and contributed to project barely purchasing 4 cars this year.
Thus it's a completely different story.

She'll be covering the Seat race as she has done all year - with a grid voted for by fans, now that should be interesting!

Would love to see how Hamilton does in F3 if he races this weekend, and think that it'll be good to see Kerr out in a Lola. Doesn't look good for the championship though, last year's winner coming back, does it?

From a certain point of view it's rather a shame that lastyear champion finds a seat for the latest races, when all has already said and done, isn't it?
Anyways, that's better than nothing, and it will help keeping the interest high, since true competition (that for the title) is over.

Who knows, Nina. I suspect that most people would agree with him withdrawing either voluntarily or because he does an F3 race, because a) you can't normally win even a Kelloggs competition if you have a connection with the organisers b) he has all the money in the world for racing purposes, and c) there can be few people who would not accept that he would not be a deserving winner this year anyway
