Personally, I don't think that Marques did that bad a job in the Minardi; qualifying 14th in Argentina in '96, being pretty much equal to Pedro Lamy and Ukyo Katayama. However, I wouldn't suggest that he was in the Fisichella/Trulli/Alonso/Webber league and can't imagine him back in a F1 car.

Think I'll watch 2001 Australian GP qualifying tonight to remind myself of his talents.... An F1 seat would be better served given to an up and coming, young, potential star. |
