Very up and down R7 for many..

#14 Jump start??
#1 and #888 ecploring a 'Multi21' strategy..
#22,#8, #97 going cross country travelling
#5 and #6 go 'Multi 21-ing' too
#888 falling off the road, then plopping back in front of traffic
#5 doing a 'win or bust' strategic choice.. and not succeeding..

Guys, there's a very big difference between stuffing up, running off into the grass and screwing your lap or the alternative of cutting a corner too much to gain a performance advantage and sticking yourself on pole as a result.

Correct. They make a lot of OEM parts for the likes of Volkswagen and Audi.

Bit of a wild race towards the end.

Seems like it's everybody's championship to lose at the moment.

Whincup can't have been that desperate, since he was already leading the points without even taking a race win.

Look i get what you mare saying. But both cut the corner and both deserved to finish at the back of the top top as result of there trangression, But lowndes did not deserve to start in from off coulthard because he stuffed up more.

It seems a simple rule to police, but was not applied consistantly

Sorry Pecky but there's a penalty in place in regard to corner cutting to gain time (some call it cheating) but there's no rule in place for stuffing up and running off track after locking up brakes, misjudging or whatever - if such a rule existed, there'd be drivers penalised left, right and centre through prac, Q and the races (race 7 would have been a doozy in that regard). Scott Pye would have copped a flogging in Tassie.

No rule to police in Lowndes' case as no rule applies in regard to a penalty for his mistake.

see there is a rule in place, it just wasn't consistently applied.

Criag's correct position was in the wall. and therefore last starter.

If Fabs had have done that in a race, there would be no penalty. So to include race examples is not a correct comparison. you have to include qualyfying examples only

SHORT answer yes long answer no but he came in hot and locked up sliding into Whincup who to his credit rode the bump and went on to win, whereas Frosty spun then recovered to finish further down the field.

OK - I had my tongue in my cheek there, sorry about that.

Craig's correct position was not in the wall as there's no wall there - he WAS last top ten starter (due to his mistake and not any penalty) until another driver had his top ten time removed and that penalty moved Fabs behind all others in the shootout.

The only rule broken and therefore penalty applied was for what Fabs did - so the rule, which definitely exists, was applied consistently and correctly. Simple.

Honestly, if he knew his car was unstable under braking, as it proved to be in the end, but showed signs of the same problem in the laps before... the move made was definitely a 'Win or Bust' one..

Arguably he didnt even take Mr Whincup out properly

Could not believe one MS on the TV, he kept saying Frosty got to have a big go, and then when he did, he was all over JW, and the bias towards JW was sicking, yes we all know MS favours Red Bull Racing but it is getting beyond a joke now.

You can not say one thing , then when it happens favour the other side of it.
