How much would the average V8 Supercar driver earn per year racing? Is it there full-time job?

Having a look at it, most of them are full time drivers, but a fair few would also have active rolls within the team. For instance the Valvoline Cummins boys and girl all work in his various dealerships while they aren't out on the track.

Then there would be the next breakdown:

Of course these guys would make money from racing through sponsorships, prize money etc

David Besnard
They'd have contracts with their team where they get paid a wage, or there is some form of performance clause, or they get the prizemoney, or a combination of them.

Then there would be guys like Rodney Fordes and Dugal McDougall who bring money to a team to buy a drive.

How much they make? A fair bit i'd say
