and the champion lola is in the pits ... it came in just as the pace car went off. they took the rear engine cover off and its already at least 5 laps down ...

hmm ... does one lap ... they come back in ... change wheels and the steering wheel ... and now they are checking over the engine bay.
no luck for turbo cars  the ascari/bmw just pulled in behind the wall

The radio coverage has just finished as well. Back at 16:30 local time.
Just started football coverage, as this Superbowl thingy is on Sunday Daytona is well well down the list I'm afraid. Still searching for another radio station. SL |

If not, then Grand-Am is behind ALMS, which does both. |

I think the radio link will have hourly or 1/2 hourly updates. Problem is so many adverts. As far as I have found this is the only online radio station. There has been quite a discussion on the Grand Am forum about this. It is not helped by the Superbowl the same weekend of course.

 sorry, my coverage stops when speedvisions coverage stops ... lol the ultima gtr has spun into one of the wlls. im not sure where it is on track. one of the agt cars, unsure of number, its a vette, its a deranged flat front right wheel. |
