Buttons Predictions

Prediction ,yes JB has made one. No, he did not say this will be his year. However, he did say that... well read the link

Interesting views on the BAR team too. It seems they are hoping Ferrari or Maclaren faulter.

Big statement about Ferrari and MacLaren.
Given that the quick times shown in testing are from Button and Button alone I doubt the car is as quick as BAR are making out.

 Um, Sato holds the lap record at Barcelona (1:13.797).

Edit: That was with the BAR 005 hybrid. But he is within a couple of tenths of Button with the 006. He's not getting blown away.

nothing too outrageous in that interview, i've been predicting the downfall of Ferrari since '99.

Mark Webber has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
I don't think Ferrari will " faulter" has such as the competition is just much stiffer will Ferrari take out the WCC maybe the WDC will be the hardest faught in years. Mac is a huge threat big than williams IMO . Speed is fine but you don't have to be the fastest to win .
Weather BAR is near the top 4 is to shown yet . I would like to think JB will get his podium this year but we are talking about 8 cars in front with at best 5 cars to "fall" over in sum way its a big ask but its F1 anything is possible

BAR were not this quick in 1999 testing at all.

And their car that year didn't run reliably in testing either.

Button might be saying fez will fall, and i reckon he's right, but it won't be him that does it, despite what he says.

Well, it has to happen sometime.

I think that Button may have a point. BAR and Button are in the best position to evaluate the Bridgestone Vs Michelin situation (though, they won't know about the latest 'Stones of course), which could be the key to knocking Ferrari off the top.

I hope the BAR is quick; I'm sceptical, but hopeful. Button is trying to be realistic; he obviously has a good feel for this year's car but does say that noone can really know until they all get to Melbourne.
