Presumably Kraihaimer in a P1 is continuation of the Lotus effort, I wonder if that was why he signed up with them instead of Oak last year. Here's hoping we get some more news of that car soon too.

Looks like the ZEOD RC will be a GT Academy car, Sportscar365 and Endurance-Info reporting that Wolfgang Reip has been announced as the second driver.

Few mixed feelings on this - Kraihamer comes across as a nice guy and seems fairly rapid, but I'm not sure Eat the Ball sponsorship will help get Rebellion a nice livery...

A couple more driver slots filled for Le Mans - although we don't quite know which.
Richard Lietz and Nick Tandy confirmed as Porsche GTE third drivers. http://sportscar365.com/wec/porsche-...driver-lineup/ Full line-ups still TBC. Great to see Tandy in there though. So I make it we've got roughly 40 drivers still to be named on the entry list. That should keep us busy until June. |

I don't think cars missing a pre-season test is worth worrying about at this stage. Happens enough in F1.

However... the teams are obliged by the rules to have at least one car present at the official pre-season test at Ricard. Which is why Audi, Toyota and Porsche will be at that test session for the first time this year, no factory LMP1 cars were at the test in 2012 and 2013.

Yeah I thought that sounded a bit strange. The whole team is a bit strange really. Probably good thing kraihmer (sp?) got out when he did.
I'm not so worried about rebellion. Even if they don't make Silverstone we know they've got reasonably solid finances and the car is beating completion. |

Personally, I saw this as good news. No news is always bad news with this sort of thing, and the "bad news" is that they may not make Paul Ricard. Nothing about Lotus missing Silverstone.
