Ah, ok.

Cheers k-b

I think a 45min session with all the cars would be the best idea though.

They used to have that, but the drivers complained there was too much traffic.

After Zolder they changed the qualifying-format. Not only drivers complained.....also the team-principals. The repair bills were too high

DAMS is only running one car as Gianmaria is out of Maldonado's car. He probably ran out of cash.

There's a little fun thing I have to add here though. Gianmaria has been so far off Alx' pace (a couple of second per lap) that DAMS thought there had to be something wrong with his car. During testing at Le Mans last week Alx and Lopez (who runs for DAMS in GP2) switched back and forward with the two WSR cars only to find that both cars ended up with equal lap times.

Perhaps he didn't run out of cash afterall, he may have run out of self esteem.

Race 1 Results here.

A very wet race by the looks of things, race 2 currently underway (unless my timing is rubbish...)

Since Le Mans they changed the qualifying format. One group consist of the drivers that are currently 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and so on in the championship, the others (2nd, 4th, 6th etc in the standings) fall into other group.

Now, if the difference between average times of first five drivers in both groups is higher than 0,03%, then the grid is based on places of the drivers in respective groups. That is: the guy with fastest time starts from pole, and other drivers from his group line up behind him in odd starting positions, while the drivers from "slower" group start from the other side of the grid.

If the difference is below 0,03%, then the grid is formed according to the best lap times of each driver.

A bit complicated, but... ;-)

P.S. It seems that Power lost his power in rain ;-)

Alex K has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
But not in the dry.
