I never thought much of the night races anyway but more long races would be welcome.

Night races won’t be popular with ITV4 due to scheduling, and longer races will interfere with the amount of commercial breaks they can take per hour.

Alan Gow was asked about night races before, and said it is unlikely to ever happen again because of the cost of lighting all the spectator areas for health and safety reasons.

The existing 24h races at Silverstone and Snetterton don't have an issue with this because they have so few spectators. When you are trying to accomodate 40,000 people at a BTCC weekend it is a very different prospect.

What about the trip to mainland Europe - isn't there a Spa round happening soon?

I've also heard that Gow is going to encourage F1 drivers to make guest appearances, mandatory pit-stops are being introduced, TOCA are going to give more boost to Plato, but set the rules to benefit both RWD and Honda simultaneously.

But the 2019 season is looking like the worst one yet because the cars aren't as good as they used to be, a number of drivers have proved they are awful, the grid is too populated and there aren't as many crashes as there should be!

Well the new Ceed is on sale now. However, it would be a Hyundai if there were a manufacturer backed entry.

Hyundai N is the sporty brand in the Hyundai Kia stable now.

If/ when TCR goes electric then Volvo may appear..

ok, long shot suggestion but I'm thinking Cammish may quietly go off to GTs next year, he's a decent enough driver but considering his record of winning 2013-2017, this year must be so frustrating for him,... any thoughts?
