Didn't see them do anything to the car during the stop he served the penalty though unless i missed something. He did box during the SC period right before then.

We don't have the facts to make any claims for or against tbh.

If the teams were running within Dunlop camber/pressure specifications then there onus needs to lie more on them than the teams. If the teams were pushing past the recommendations then certainly it lies on the teams.

There is a judge of fact in the lane.

The additional cars got pinged because of the TV coverage.

Overall pretty amateurish performance by the officials. That the crossing the line edict was only issued this morning does look a bit like policy on the run. And the only cars pinged were those the coverage picked up, bet there were a lot more that just got lucky.

One would think that if the judge of fact has not picked up something so blatant, that the TV has seen, then perhaps the judge of fact should be repremanded?

If the teams are running within the Dunlop specifications and there's no solution then it's almost grounds to cancel the rest of the event. That won't happen though, so tomorrow we're going to see some very conservative setups and driving I imagine.

Jumped to the back of the queue when the artificial entertainment vehicle was deployed.

I'm wondering how much race control relies upon the footage for the Tv during the race, it appears whatever the commentary team pick up is quickly digested by race control. Today we had scotty busted going over the line, penalty....then after big nose and cromley wanted more of a look we had three more penalties...coincidence? This used to also happen a lot with wheels spinning during pit stops, if the tv director showed it teams got pinged.

I saw another 3 cars in the background of one of the later stops doing the same thing. So it appears quite a few cars have escaped a penalty.
