Looks like a decent programme BUT a 3-hour VdeV race with (I fear) only 11 entries to finish with on the Sunday. Hope that's not right!!!

The trolley cots in DDMC Rescue 1 & 2 are available for hire at the rate of £5 per hour or a bag of doughnuts. See you all at the weekend.

Not made my mind up yet - volunteered, but heard nothing back. Now have a new camera to play with, so that might get my attention instead (especially if the VdeV's are short on numbers).

May see you over the weekend, maybe not.

Big thanks to Steve & the DDMC crew for the BBQ on Saturday night, top nosh!

Good weekend, decent racing, and the 3hr wasn't too bad from post one, but more than 11 cars would have been nice (ten cars once we lost one with 'steering problems' (racing driver book of excuses #43))

Al.

Edit: And get well soon Westy, I'm now struggling as well - work have had the warning not to expect me tomorrow at 6 a.m. More ibuprofen anyone???

Just a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this a great weekend.
All the championships send their thanks to all the marshals for their efforts and a special note from VdeV "thanks for putting up with a small grid we had hoped for 15 to 20 cars"
In summary a damn fine weekend of motorsport and motorsport socialising

Steve and the DDMC team

I will join you in the bribes! Brilliant weekend tho, VdeV's would have been good with a bigger grid - flagging from 10 was reasonable over 3 hours, at least there was a bit of lappery going on!

Some great fast cars, miles better than 4 hours of beetles!!
Great BBQ
Quite disapointed with the response to my request for a race stop on sunday and then being requested to compromise my crews safety. I Think I will be seriuosly considering not returning to the banks. Whats the point?

I would like to thank everyone for making me so welcome on my first visit to Croft. I was with the Lotus Elise series on Saturday and helping out with V de V and Safety Car on Sunday. A great bunch of people who made it a very special weekend for me.

Thanks Norm, it was a privilege to be your post partener! I just wonder what they must of thought approaching the grid probably "note to self, do not crash at tower, DO NOT crash at tower, they are loony"

I would like to say thanks to everyone, it was a fab weekend. As for the bacon butties from DDMCm, cheers for funding it and big big thanks to my parents and Papa Luti who cooked all morning.

So who is coming the BBQ at touring cars then!!
