Because I didn't have 30 minutes available to watch something else!

Anyway, diagnostic processes for obscure problems have long intrigued me. Especially when the problem in question has not been diagnosed by several previous attempts by other people.

That one seemed to be a very thorough explanation.

It also reminded me why I might want to resist Management's apparent desire to change her car for something full of modern complexity that she will discover she hates, refuses to use and then finds she has to use bits of it and so moans about it constantly.

If I find myself starting to come around to the idea of changing the Corolla I just dig out a video about fixing over complex post circa 2007 cars and my resolve to resist is once again bolstered. Probably saving several grand as a result.

I hear Boris has admitted to his first cockup.

Presumably it something he's not prepared to blame on someone else.

Not sure it can count as his first.......does this count as the first barsteward conceived in No 10?

At least he won't be singing that West Side Story song "I feel Priti..."

I sometimes wonder where things political are conceived.

Reports are that the mother-to-be's new assistant (dog walker and nappy changer?) is a high powered person who could command a "6 figure salary".

Amazing.

What with this, the floods, the storms and Corvid 19 plus the threat of a significant recession, 2020 could be a rather interesting year.

Well where do we start?

Pestilence - we have that
War - we have plenty of those of varying kinds
Famine - although the way it is written in the Bible sounds more like hyper-inflation and social division between the wealthy and the poor

behold, a black horse; and he who sat on it had a pair of scales in his hand. And I heard something like a voice in the center of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not damage the oil and the wine."

And finally Death.

How many more Horsemen do you need?

Think I follow that.....

Cliff R and I have been discussing a Bob Tullius Gp44 Transam XJS coming up for auction at Amelia Island next w/end. Mega cool, but Cliff dug up this pic af another (sister?) car at Silverstone Classic a few years ago. JDC (as they were) were running it. No need to mention the even cooler Escort in the foreground...

Yes I wondered if the Silverstone one was a replica. Tulliis started with a TR8 IIRC.

Bob Tullius started racing in a TR3 & worked his way through TRs & various other marques, including Lotus Cortina & E Types. He also competed in the very first Trans Am in a Dodge Dart - I happened to speak to one of his mechanics from that race on Friday who is at Sebring with the Historic Trans Am - small world.

Sorry picture isn’t up to Baub’s standard but has two mega cool cars in it - especially the yellow one in front

Maybe we could start a crowd funding campaign on here and put a bid in

The media having been banging on about a possible so-called "Boris bump"! Is this the bump that they were expecting?
