2002 Champion?

Ok so this question hasn't been asked for a couple of months now and seeing as we are pretty much at the halfway stage (already!?!?!?!) of the season, who will be the 2002 champion?

I'm not posting as I still think its quite wide open...

Bearing in mind that Panizzi will win the tarmac events, I think Marcus' consistency will see him beat off Richard's challenge, and the other teams will end up taking points off each other.

So that would be Marcus then

Yep Marcus for me too, I would like to say Tommi, but Marcus is consistent, and fast, and the Pug is a good car too

I reckon Marcus too, but if Panizzi wins all the remaining ashphalt events, he could take it!

I think it will be Marcus Gronholm too. When was the last time he was champion? I'm new to rallying.

I'd love to see Panizzi do it, but can you imagine the amount of whining you would hear from Colin McRae (and others) about how it wasn't fair.... so anyway I voted for Marcus.

Carlos should win it... in fact, he should be the winningest driver ever, if not for his bad luck...

Of course I voted for him, being a member of his fan club...

And Marcus Gronholm's view in Motorsport News.

"My main rivals are going to be Richard and Colin for the title this year."

Interesting list, but I think there is at least one error - didn't Richard Burns drive a Subaru when he won in 2001?
