Have to wonder if Indy Car would be a consideration rather than the politics and nonsense of F1?

One report says Hartley had mechanical issues. Seems Ganassi was over extended or something (plain bad luck) running the GTEs and DPs.

I wonder if Honda's win will encourage them to go endurance racing rather than the F1 nonsense they are currently doing.

Its good news that one Puke I couldn't be happier for Andre and wish him well with LDM.

I think with the alleged KRE engine deal happening, ra de rah, then Heimy and Perdog should be a pretty cool little combo.

And I am sorry if this offends anyone, but if he starts to paste Super Black in his LDM car then I will be doing this.... (this remark has nothing to do with Chris Pither - I like the guy, I just do not accept how they (SBR) treated Andre at the end of 2015).

Bring on Clippy

This does mean that Andre won't be racing his ST at Puke as they clash. He will race in the GP though.

Huge congrats to Hayden Paddon to secure 2nd in Sweden. It seems he was giving Ogier a serious nudge towards the end, and then the 'scare'!

So his first time out in the new spec i20 and he gets this result...on snow...most of the time

Well done, you're doing NZ proud

So I suppose one has to assume he has stopped racing for good. If he still lives in Indianapolis, probably the next time we see him after his diet of American GMO food, he will have bloated up!.....ha ha.

A real shame as I believe he had enormous talent..

Tough opening weekend for Munro in USF2000, after being involved in collisions in both races he's 20th in points (his teammates are 4th, 9th and 14th). He'll be hoping for better results at the upcoming Barber Motorsports Park round.

Brendan Hartley unfortunately reverted to type in the WEC, lucky not to complete a huge rollover after contact with a GT car whilst in a comfortable 1st place.

I wonder if it will be in the new Ford GT - they would have pretty high hopes for that I imagine.

Saw it last week-end. Can't say I'm keen, it sounds pretty horrible, especially compared with the Astons and Ferraris. They seemed to run well, though.

WOOHOO!! now this is worth logging on for! What a performance. Ogier must be getting a bit nervous for a so-called 'B' team to smash him in Argentina. Hayden is just beginning his charge to become a world champion in the coming years.

How does this compare (if anything) to other Kiwi achievements? Earl Bamber springs to mind as does Scott Dixon's Indy 500. But for me, this might just be the biggest thing for modern NZ motorsport.

I'll be interested to hear more experienced peoples views on this fantastic result

Might buy a Hyundai now!!!

I won't be buying a Hyundai any more than I was inclined to smoke Marlboro or JPS!

Great that one of our most high profile drivers proudly wearing NZ made Chicane Racewear for so many years, as did Scott Dixon, Mitch Evans and many others, hits the real big time.

Fantastic result.
