Driver Substitution At A Supercars Event?

A team arrives at Wanneroo, and one of the drivers tests positive for Covid-19.

Is the team allowed to put a substitute driver in or does the team bench the car for the event?

You can substitute, and incredibly it triggers a change in the regs to have all drivers drop the points from their worst round.

Division A of the Ops Manual
A6.7 Nomination and Change of Drivers
6.7.1 A Primary Driver is not permitted to Compete under more than one (1) TRC in the same
calendar year, unless approved by Supercars.
6.7.2 Supplementary Regulations for each Event and Round will specify the dates and times for
the closing of Drivers’ nominations.
6.7.3 A change of Driver may be made after the time set in the Supplementary Regulations but
only in exceptional circumstances and with the approval of the Stewards. Such application
must be submitted using the form in Division F.

14.1.7 If a Driver or Competitor is forced to withdraw from an Event by Covid-19, the final
championship points for both the Driver’s and Team’s championship’s will then be
calculated by dropping the worst Event points from all Drivers final point score.
