Its 9 weeks to the next round

Most of that time will be taken up with the preparing and then shipping the cars
to China.

Even race drivers and team members want some days off, especially from Italy

Eurosport Events is French. It doesn't help too. Perhaps their staff is on strike during summer time.

I know that, but i believe lot of people from TCR (Marcello Lotti etc.) are italian. Their summer holiday in August is nearly holy.

And of course, all others like to use summer days for free time too. TCR is not most important sport possible.

That could have been a good plan if the series had any Brit team left.

No, it wasn't. I'd imagine a TCR UK round would be a great place for an international British team like Craft Bamboo to enter a couple of cars to put some more miles and test new drivers. Pity Craft Bamboo has long move away from TCR and UK.

You'll only find happy endings in books. Some books. And WTCR .

Careful TR4, you might get a poorly selected, out of context proverb quoted to you in response

Felipe de Souza won't be a wildcard at Macau Grand Prix.

They've reverted to using the east course at Suzuka.

The "reason" sounds kind of off to me. It'll be a bit tight for the Super Formula cars, won't it?

Reason definitely sounds off but Super Formula will still use GP layout. They can have those air fences in the runoff but FIA series can't. But the calendar of events (F1, WTCR+S.F, Japan SBK) is the same as last year so either they messed up last year or they just want an easier way of doing this.

F1 / WTCR / SBK dates are the same as last year, but there are other events between the F1 and WTCR this year, which means they need to change the fences around part of the circuit before the WTCR date.

The goal is to increase the number of laps, which will be good for fans at the track.

In this F3 news, we can spot that FIA WTCR - Race of Macau lost one of the most anticipated wildcards: https://www.macaubusiness.com/local-...f-competition/

May have been posted already but I believe Engstler is back as well for Macau, in place of Farfus (?) who is racing the GTs instead.

The updated entry list from Macau GP organizing committee revealed there will be 6 wildcard entries from Hong Kong and Macau.
