Believe me Walshy, I always give as good as I get!

As for who will win this year? Lets just wait and see shall we.

Alright Goughy, look forward to racing your younger bro this year. Hopefully I will get to see that damn swift in my mirrors a bit more, as i know every bloody milimetere of the gearbox!

"young Roberts finally worked out how to turn on the pc".......took him all season to work out the kettle! .......me thinks 04 favourite too, Jamie will be the surprise. Ian jnr wont be a surprise not to me anyway!!, he'll be right on it. Pre 87 - Mike Bibby in my reynard with his rear gunner Dave Franklin, surprise Bruce!!

Jase, we are decreasing your bacon & egg butties this year for fear that you won't fit into the slip-on! The old man is having your share as we fear he is looking some what under-fed.

Redracer, I tried to persuede her into a weekend in Wigan. A lovely days racing in the 'sun trap' we call Three Sisters followed by a walk along the pier to watch the sunset. Seriously though, would love to have done it just the missus had already booked the trip. Pity it changed from the 28th.

I will make all the tea this year Dave, and casually slip something into Jamie's to slow the bugger down.

How's it goin Athgoe? managed to t-cut the evidence off the nose cone! Last time I saw you I think we were knee deep in Silverstone gravel. You were taken away for your b*LL&%£ing and I was left with the 10 ****ed off marshals. Hope you come over for a couple of NW rounds yourself this year.

My predictions for 2004? well, in true "Murray Walker" fashion let's see if we can knacker the job for those we tip to win.

Well, I agree with Goughy: consistency will be the key to overall success and this is where I think Steve R will have an advantage. I'm sure Jnr Jnr (I'm quite touched he's decided to adopt that name) will give him a run for his money and I don't think Jamie is going to be too far off the pace either. I seem to remember him in one of Richard Peacock's 94 Mondiales in class A and he wasn't too shabby then. Within only 2 rounds to drop for overall scores, I think Pikey might struggle. But for sure it's going to be a really good year. If you add in those people who are knocking on the door of the top 3: Chris H.,Bryan Mullarkey, Neil Mac.,Lord Barfoot and I suppose I'd better include myself as well, things are going to be close, very close: can't wait!

As for class B, I guess that's going to be a straight fight between Mike Bibby and Dave F. unless jminsh can be persuaded to be a bit of a "spoiler"!

'Cue brackets from Diz'
[You can expect a post from StephenRae next time he logs on. Also, I don't know whether you've picked it up yet, but John Wilkinson is now a ten tenther. And what about Chris 'Chiz' Chisnall in the Opal Telecom RF86? Really David, you need to be doing your homework. Still, all will be OK when Gus comes out of hibernation and resumes his 'researcher role']

JnrJnr should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
This year is going to be a good one. I hope that I will be in a posistion to give Roberts some hassle, as well as the other front runners but it will be hard.

Having been a hanger on for a couple of years now, and put in a couple of average performances I am really pleased that my name has even been mentioned in this thread.

Dont get me wrong, im only racing to win, so anything else will be a disappointment. Im planning to win races this year, but im under no illusions. I have the privelage of having a fully sorted car and a fairly decent mentor so my job has been made a little easier already.

I cant wait for kartingdad to put my engine back in so i can get started.......hint hint dad........

TOP3-

1 - Steve R
2 or 3 - JnrJnr (has a good car lets just hope he can drive it well ?)
3 or 2- Chris H - Redracer

And if Jminsh gets his free drive at a round in a good car maybe a win. Chris if you cannot make all the rounds he could have a go of yours ?

I'm really pleased that Franky is back....perhaps he and Mike Bibby can keep the accident damage 'in the family', it's not too bad, I usually get to repair them.

I think Peter Gavriel, if he is doing it, will be quick as well. He certainly came on towards the end of last year. Also, redracer may turn a few heads, after doctor Hutch looked at his car, he should be even quicker. It is going to be a hard fought year in 2004. I think my very strategic approach will be 'Go Like F%£K!!'

I think it will be one of the most open Championships in years with 2 clear favs in my mind -

Steve Roberts and Ian Gough (nothing like a good bit of pressure boys!!!)

Steve will win the Championship but Ian will have his fair share of wins but will lack keeping to the black stuff in the early rounds for a real title push but that will come as the speed is not lacking!. He will be clear fav for 2005.

Then a gaggle of people who will do well in a number of races with wins maybe on the cards but most likely a number of podiums -

Peter Gavriel
Mike Bennett
Alan Pike
Chris H (you have to mention yourself!!)
M Barfoot
Jamie Smyth
Phil Austin - second in the last round and 2002 b champ?
David Bailey
Bryan Mullarkey
Steve St Clair
David Marshall - could be a tidy package in 2004 after a great BD day at the end of the year
