Bob Holden Sprinter pics **WANTED**

I'm looking for photos of Bob Holden's Group A Toyota AE86 RWD Corollas/Sprinters/Levins. I've tried the Historic forum and got no response and there are only a few photos at www.autopics.com.au

Does anyone else have any to show?

Patto's new beast

Nice Patto!!!

So exactly what year/race livery do you plan to restore it to??

Do you still have to apply for a Certificate of Description for the car???

Cheers,
CD.

Saw one of Bob's cars on a trailer at Maccas at Gundagai last Sunday night.

Two blokes with it but not quite game enough to say g'day!

What does Bob look like anyway?

Punter, what shape/model was it and what ivery was it wearing?

Bob Holden is not too tall, average build and well into his '70s, but he looks younger.

You know what David, I was so shagged after a long day playing cricket, I can't even remember!

I'd say it was an Escort, primarily white with some red detail, with Bob Holden across the top of the screen.

There was a very distinguished curly grey haired gent in Maccas dressed in an old pair of blue overalls; I guess that was Bob...

Punter, Bob Holden does have curly grey hair and he still races his Mk II Escorts in Historic Group C.

I am told that there is a picture of my car on page 205 of The Great Race volume 9, the 1989 edition and there is another picture of my car on page 103 of volume 12, the 1992 edition. I don’t have either of these books, but if you do, I would really appreciate it if you could scan a copy and email it to david@edicustoms.com.au
