It's a BARC run truck race meet, but with added BARC championships - the CTCRC is one of them.

The format is the 20th is a Raceday for the CTCRC with Truck practice plus TinTops and Clubmans.

The 21/22 is the Typical truck meeting.

More clarification on Brands Wesbite.

Good entry.

Interesting to see not one but 5 V8 Supercars out which will be fantastic to see and hear.

Also included is a 8000cc Pontiac Trans Am

No problem. Hope to come along with my Dad but depends on what else he is doing. I'd love to go.

I gather you are going?

Shame the UKV8s series never worked out as we are starting to see more out.

Will, it's my second home although I'm nearly 70 miles from the circuit! I'm at 80 per cent of the meetings from January to November and when I'm not there I'm at another meeting! I did say it's an addiction!

Me too.

So far this year I've done Britcar at Silverstone,BMCRC at Brands and GT Cup at Donington.

Its most definitely an addiction for me.

I'd love to be there for this one, but work calls this weekend unfortunately.

(Red Mazda 6 Estate, park on Southbank, watch from all over the place. Normally to be found asleep in the passenger seat during the lunch breaks!))

Yes I think you know where I mean.

As you walk down from Druids there is a raised bank to spectate from just before you get to Graham Hill bend, that's where I watch from and I park next to it so I can dive in the car if its cold between races!

Great track, great cars, great weather. A perfect day.

The classic grids were all healthy, particularly the Thunder/BOSS race. As a contrast the modern BARC Tin Tops had 7 cars for two races. The multitude of events is a worry in historic racing but modern club racing is, it seems, in terminal decline. Except at Castle Combe where I will be tomorrow.

Not really. The BARC Tin Tops has special reasons for being down on numbers which are unique to it.

Other series with modern cars such as CSCC and MSV are in rude health.
