new marshal at Croft

I am really keen to get involved with marshalling, and Croft is my nearest circuit at the moment. I filled in a form about the taster days a few months ago but haven't heard anything (not sure if this is because of my email spam filter, or just not been any taster days at croft in that time). Given the rallycross is the only event left at Croft for this year I assume I have missed the boat for a taster day.

To get myself started marshalling next year am I best off doing the pre-season training day, or should I wait for an early season taster first. Sorry to start another new marshal thread but any advice on starting out would be much appreciated.

Might be a bit late for the Rallycross event but I would certainly do the training day at Croft (normally February) without waiting for a taster day. For a contact try:

email: marshalling@darlington-motor-club.org.uk

I think the marshall's secretary is now Bob Wright and the Chief Marshal is Dave Lea but both link into that e-mail address according to the DDMC website. Their full contact details are on the DDMC website under the 'contact us' section:
