Very weird seeing the cars race on the streets of Detroit like the F1 days, even if they didn't exactly use the old layout, in fact only a bit of it crosses over with the F1 track.

Sounds like they were testing at Road America this week, he teased it yesterday with the video upload this morning

RHR in the seat and Bitnile staying is interesting. Some claims out there Daly family connections brought them to the team but guessing they were directly linked but signed with the team

If it's freaking paved, use it!!! If you don't want a car on it, put grass or gravel there!!! Track limits can be clear!

And if that is too complicated, don't put things out there to damage the car or worse yet, the driver, when it's traveling in excess of 120 MPH.

I would like to see what he hit, looked to me like he caught the corner where the wide pavement ended and dropped a wheel so the car was at an angle when he came back on, not sure you can fix that

Hard to tell, but looks like a hole in the hard surfaces as it impacted the entire car and not just the left side. Would think RAmerica would look at this and try to fix it before next week when 20 plus of these machines will be funneling through T1.

I agree, and find it curious that there is a curb with pavement behind it. I mean, shouldn't the curb be the end of the track? I know this is a common scenario but the drivers will figure it out, if going wide causes a jump, they won't do it.

He will have good company there: Kris Meeke, Oliver Bennett, Kevin and Oliver Eriksson, Benito Guerra - I think he will be more interested in it than the team.

Maybe not the best career move for him, but it keeps him fresh. I'm sure people like Meeke probably are looking for more, not sure about the others. But we'll see where Daly goes from here and if he can get back into Indycars. Big If about it
