Designing Fast Cars to Building Medical Equipment

Plenty of people are only to happy to bag out motorsport for various reasons, so it is great to see Mercedes F1, Triple 888 and Erebus using their engineering skills to building much needed medical equipment for Coronavirus.

Good work guys and girls.

Always nice to see Australian engineering being developed.

Kudos to 888 and others for open-sourcing their engineering.

I absolutely love it.

This is the result when a whole bunch of brilliant and competitive people can't do their normal work.

Not just those teams mentioned either. Virtually all F1 teams plus lots of specialist motorsport engineering companies both overseas and here in Oz.

Plus some automotive manufacturers swinging at least part of their production capacity over to respirators etc.

Good to see!

You're wrong - she's staying silent. It's great!

I don't know. What would you suggest a 17-yr old environmental activist should be doing to help the cause of dealing with a pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2)?

Backagain has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Actually, in order to attempt to stay in the limelight, she has announced that she "thinks" that she has the virus but is refusing to be tested and is self isolating with her puppet master,... oops, her father.
