Follow Cooper and the money. He's leading the points in Ferrari Challenge and they're at Sebring that weekend. As with the last race he wants to win there and he's not fast enough any longer for IMSA.

They've been off the pace with the 488 all season. And he skipped the last round as well. The world finals fit in between Laguna Seca and the Fall Sebring 12 Hr. But if he needs to quarantine, if he's allowed to travel, I think you could see them skip Laguna as well.

These are both great news items to hear! I wasn't expecting any positive grid additions for the remainder of the season.

I wonder where the Inter Europol Oreca is coming from? I suspect it is a car already in the states and maybe they will be leaning on the cars owner for support staff on the track but I didn't see anything about that in the article. Also interesting they are looking at LMP3 for next year since it has been added to the championship.

DSC says they're running with the extra PR1 Oreca chassis and the team supporting the effort at the track as well. "The car will be driven by regular team LMP2 driver Kuba Smiechowski, US Gentleman driver and regular ELMS LMP3 pilot Rob Hodes and 2019 IMSA Prototype Challenge Champion Austin McCusker who was initially slated to join the team in the ELMS this season in LMP3." Thanks, I suspected they would be using local machinery. PR1 has LMP3 connections too if InterEuropol is interested for next season.

Joao dropped from Mustang Sampling JDC as of today apparently. Thought he brought Mustang Sampling to the team from Action Express but it seems they’ve replaced him with Vautier for the rest of the season. Wonder if the 85 will keep going or if we’re losing a DPi already.

Article says he’s released to pursue a 2021 program, no mention of Mustang Sampling moving with him possibly. Edit- S365 reports from Mustang Sampling is they wish Joao well so maybe they’re staying with JDC. Bourdais is not likely to resign with his Foyt ride in Indy

DSC's report ended with Mustang Sampling 85 will report on 2021 drivers later this year so sounds like they will be keeping that car at least. Whether they can find guys to sell the other to?

Cooper confirmed to S365 they're racing in Sebring with Ferrari Challenge. But they will be back for Petit next weekend.

I thought that Mustang Sampling was Joao's sponsor. And now they decided that their first loyalty is to JDC Miller the team, not Joao the driver. Interesting.

Well they're keeping both cars on track for Petit in the lineup released this afternoon. 31 cars for Petit isn't great but isn't terrible either.

JDC/Miller 85 has Gabriel Aubry, Matheus Liest and Chris Miller join him since Vautier to the 5.

Era is out from LMP2, and for the rest of the season. Cars rented to Inter Europol until 2021 and Era will be back then.

Braun has another new ride with Performance Tech since Era withdrew.

Starworks back in LMP2 but without Daziel as announced last month.

Pfaff is back, wonder if Michelin blue and yellow plaid again or the classic.

WeatherTech is back, Balzan in for Vilander.

Hardpoint is in the list but only with team principal, codriver Pumpelly is in the Magnus car.

AFAIK the Interpol car is a PR1/Mathiesen car, not the ERA car.
That's what DSC reported.

Checking out the entry and one of the most interesting cars to me is the BMW with Herta driving. Great to see a young talented driver expanding his from his indycar role and racing a GT. I know he raced with the team previously, but it is nice to see he doesn't consider a GT car beneath him.

In the Michelin Charlotte Notebook on S365 there was a funny line about the last time ALMS ran at charlotte. I added the bold for emphasis!

Bamber traded an interview with a local station for tickets to watch tomorrow's Cup race in Charlotte. Sounds like him, although I think he'd rather be in there Cup car.
