Ugliest BTCC car

It could be looks
It could be colour

But what do you think was the ugliest ever Touring Car in the BTCC

You decide!

Post pictures to see the appearance of the criminal in question but squeamish people had better not click on them!

In terms of cars, the Mazda Astina's and Rover's that raced in the BTCC in 91 & 92.

As for colour schemes, i wasn't a fan of the rusty orange colours on Steve Soper's Hepolite Glacier Rover Vitesse in 1983, or Vauxhall's colours in 1995 and 1996.

All of the Fords, to me, have looked great, I don't think there is anything wrong with them.

How dare you??In case you don't know, Paul Radisich won 6 BTCC races, won the Touring Car world cup TWICE (He's the only person to ever do that), and was a great guy. Proof of when he goes to talk to Roberto Ravaglia in 1996.

Okay- 1992 BMW 318is- It had some dragon on the hood, plus it was green and just hideous, maybe also the Prodrive BMW 318is from 1992 too, was ugly.
Mazda Xedos in 1993. Purple and yellow???
Yeah, I agree, the Vauxhall in 1995 was pretty ugly.
Alan Morrison's Pug from 2000.
The Alfa's from 2000.
I'll think of some later.

Alfa Romeo 155 from 1994. Hideous front of the car, however, the colors are really good looking.

There is an independent car from the early-90s that I am thinking of, but I can't remember the name.

The Xedos was horrible - both in Pink and Yellow, and the White the following year.

How do you pronounce "Xedos"??

David Pinkney's car from 1993 was ugly, pink and white, with no sponsorship whatsoever on the car.

You mean his Cosworth - ideal time for a quick piccie I just happened to have laying around my web site :

Mind you I always liked the cars with no sponsorship - like the grey Arena car last year.

Yes, he did Andy. However, at least the car looked somewhat better than that horrid Sierra Cosworth!

While I agree that the 94' alfa was a complete minga - (black wheels, yuk!), the 95' one was a beauty, it just goes to show what a bodykit and silver wheels can do for a car.

The Laguna looked good when it was mostly yellow, but in '95? when it ran with a mostly blue paintwork, it looked rubbish.

Yeah, I agree, especially at the beginning of the year with that big wing!

I agree, I think the 19 was very weird. It was even uglier when they ran white wheels!

What about these 2 monstrosities? Surely the most hideous things to grace the BTCC for a long time!

Ah, such skilful use of Photoshop. Second image removed for being oversize.
