Mine is a T 10 ML with the Ribcage bits bolted on the top.
Pinki, tell Steve Tillet he needs to make a seat for girls. My girlfriend says so. Narrow at the bottom but much more so at the top.

With regard to seats for the ladies, we do have a few moulds just for the ladies. What sizes are you looking for?

We may have something knocking around, I'll speak to Steve tomorrow for you. I don't make any of the glass seats, I do the carbon and kevlar work.

Though thinking about it you could always get an insert made for your T10, I take it this is so your girlfriend can use the seat as well.

Speedy, My girlfriend is none other than Superbird who posts on this forum. It was her who got me into karting in the first place. She has been around it all her life because her family are all karting mad and have been racing for years.

Pinki, an insert would be ideal but it would need to be about 3" narrower on the top over all for her to be comfortable. I have had a go at putting foam in there but its not a good solution.

Spoke to Steve today and yes we can make an insert that narrow at the top for your seat. They will pad the sides out to the appropriate size for you.

Thats great Pinki. Thanks
I will get some proper measurements written down and we will be in contact with Tillett some time soon. How much do you think it will cost?

Ahhhh, now that's a good question, it would depend on what sort of mood the old man's in Seriously, I'm not too sure as I couldn't even tell you how much a normal seat is as I only do the carbon and kevlar's.

Give him a ring and say you spoke to Keith that way he'll know you're the one I've been talking about.

Sorry I didn't reply yesterday, had a bit of a fireworks party

Right the insert, you are looking at £60 for the insert and about £20 for foaming up, we would also need to know whether the insert needs to go down to your good ladies hips or not ???

Ok. I will get around to taking some measurements with her in it and what not in the next few days and contact Tillett's next week.

Thanks again

Laurie.

If you can spare the time it might be an idea to pop in and that way you can talk it over with Steve and actually see what you are getting, it may also be cheaper that way.

Just a thought.

Thats a good idea. We will try to get over that way sometime soon. Its hard to get time off work but we will do it. I may even be interested in getting a new seat for me too.
Cheers

I'm sure Steve will be able to sort you both out, you never know you might end up with a kevlar
