U.S. Vintage Grand Prix

SVRA's Vintage Grand Prix, with over 500 entries is the largest Vintage event in the Eastern U.S. While Can_am and Trans-Am were featured there were cars from Prewar to tube frame Trans- Am cars entered. The event is more than another race weekend though, it is a celebration of the history of racing at the "Glen". The town of Watkins Glen is very involved, closing down the main street Friday for one big party. There are food and memorbilia vendors, bands playing, cars on display, rallies, gymkhana's and to top it off a reenactment of the original races through the streets. Here are a few photos, more are at http://www.svra.com/SVRA/photogal.ns...ks/EJEN-6TJUAY.

This is good; just what we want to see! I can practically hear that straight 8 Alfa; there is something about that engine configuration that does it for me!
Some great shots on the site, too, thanks, photohsr!

I have been researching these all day, and it's only because I like them so much to begin with that it has not completely put me off. The 12C variant is even worse.

That Tyrrell looks different from the 012 we see in action here from time to time by the way.
