C'mon, you're being silly now . Half the field in racing karts and half the field in mario karts would be better!

I liked the 1st weekend at SMP but I don't think that the mix of hard and soft tyres really delivered from a sporting point of view. For sure plenty of passing etc and I agree with Old Tony that casual observers would have loved it but bit too contrived and in any case, there was plenty of passing on the 1st weekend when they all had the same tyres all weekend.

I suspect that the mix of hard and soft may have worked better at Winton (which is less hard on the tyres than SMP) and the late change of venue caught them out somewhat, but trying some different things is not so bad and clearly the 2nd SMP weekend wasn't as good as the 1st weekend there IMHO.
