Ride Height - Anglesey Libre Races

Having seen the discussions on ride height in the Formula Free thread, I've sort clarification from my Chief Scrutineer.

IF A CAR WAS RUN - OR IS CURRENTLY BEING RUN - IN A CLASS WHERE THE REGULATION RIDE HEIGHT WAS LOWER THAN 40mm, THEN THAT IS THE RIDE HEIGHT IT CAN RUN TO IN ANGLESEY FORMULA LIBRE RACES

What you can't do is modify your cars set up to run at a lower ride height than it was originally - or currently - allowed to run at. So no ground effect FF1600 specials please.

So having cleared this up, who is coming out to play? Entry Form is here http://brsccnw.com/iansmithpage.htm
n.b. the circuit telephone number for booking Testing has changed from what is shown on the entry form. It is now 01407 811400

Anybody fancying some winter racing need look no further than Anglesey on Sunday 2nd December. Whatever you race, we can accomodate you.
Two Races for £150 Entry Fee
Better still is the fact that you can Test on the Saturday for only £75

Got one of these and want to play out?
FF Zetec
FF Duratec
F Renault 1.7
F Renault 2.0
Monoposto 1.2, 1.6 or 2.0
Club F3
Classic F3
FF2000
Formula 4
F Jedi
Historic class single seater.

And although the entry form states upto 2000cc, if anyone has a bigger lump, we can easily change that. Are you listening in Ireland?

This is Formula Libre like it should be.

Don't forget the bigger the entry, the longer the circuit we will use.
At present it is scheduled for the National Circuit, but we can easily move onto the Coastal Circuit, or hopefully the International Circuit

To discuss this meeting, an open thread is in Racers Forum http://tentenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=100990

Usual Environmental Scrute static. Angle / Distance dependant on how doddery the one we get is
Plus if it sounds "a bit too throaty" it might get a closer dose of looking at.
Having said that, I'm sure West Tec's fleet of cars would all meet any technical criteria thrown at them.

That would be unfair - let him use fourth and fifth gears as well.

Steve's car lost its cam belt at Snetterton...........

So I don’t think he will make it although we did talk about entering prior to that happening ..................

Cleggie has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
If my car finds its cam-belt I will certainly be there, although I think I will also need a cam-shaft a few valves and the odd piston to complete the job.....

Your three Absolute Racing entries have landed through my letter box Chris. It is looking like the Single Seater Libre races will have a better entry than the FF1600 if it carries on this way.
And you will all have some lovely kerbs to keep off now. The cones are no more.

I think you will find that the FF1600 drivers will put entries in after the Walter Hays.

Those beggars would put them in after the meeting if they could.
As it was put to me earlier this week by one of our more senior drivers

This will be the first race meeting I will have ever raced against my Uncle....He will be in his Classic F3 and I will be in a very much more modern F4....I wonder who will get the bragging rights over Christmas!

Anyone else coming to play? Looks like we have a good mix of Classic F3, F4 and Monoposto at the moment but it would be good to get a full grid.

Who else is out playing?

Entry now in mid teens.
Anybody else interested in wheeling their single seater out for one last play in 2007?
