Awesome...Jack, Tony, Pat and Ron are 4 of the top five! Would really like to see these 4 (ahem, plus Owen ) battle it out for the win! I cannot wait for this one tomorrow. the thing that I have been looking forward the most since the announcement of this race is nearly 40 stockcars funneling through the kink for the first time, then heading down the straight to Canada, all jumbled up.
the amount of cars depends on how many make it through turns 1, 3, 5, 7...... Q-ing 1030am EST Saturday morning. |

Besides Ron and Pat, i've got to pull for Tony Ave here. Jack apparently had the pole until he slipped up at the last corner. Jack also saying brakes are going to be an issue today...really?
less than 45 minutes to start. |

EDIT: there's the battle! and those top two have checked out. |

geez...pretty ugly pile up at turn 6; who all did it take out? 11 cars involved, according to AB.
and red flag now. |

good result from Owen, indeed. looked very confident out there...
but Carl means business in the NW series on the road courses another victory for him and good runs from Ron Fellows and Jack. too bad Jackie V didn't get a good finish; really made that race very entertaining. and have not heard exactly what caused him to fade on the last lap and a half; i think he was down a cylinder....not sure. good show all 'round. i'd like to see them keep this one on the NW calender, forever. |

Gotta say, if I were Nascar that would be embarrassing. That was one of the most mis-managed races I've ever seen. The track is 4 miles around! No need for two laps every caution!!!!!!
