Any update on the injured WSR mechanic that fell off the pitwall in one of the Free Practice sessions which caused a red flag Yesterday? Heard he was taken to hospital in a serious condition.

And Turkington has already had a race stuffed by Shedden and his inability to pass without contact

A good start for the '14 season. Alain had bad luck.

So many good drivers now there will be less crashes from the back markers. I wonder if that will hurt viewing figures!

good racing

shame for Menu

first time a wagon gets a BTCC podium Dynamics, already achieved more than Volvo did in whole 94 season !! perhaps a win in Race 2 is in the bag with success ballast, Plato already having some digs at RWD start advantage..

anyone fancy a win for Rob Austin in race 3 with reversed grid ??

the Motorbase cars simply don't have the pace this weekend , I guess Aron Smith will get the 1st strike for naughty behavior

Why supporting Porsche's run longer distance than BTCC? Is it just the tradition touring cars = sprint, sports cars = endurance. Though 34 laps is not an endurance race but if you know what I mean.

a question regarding Jack Sears "points"

did everyone who started behind Marc Hynes get a point for a passing or do you have to do the passing on the track itself ?

AFAIK they do get the points.

Start in 20th, finish in 19th you get 1 point regardless

Good race 2, could've done without the 2nd SC though. Just out of interest, why wasn't the race extended again after the second one?

Driving standards have been pretty good so far. Though I wish Turks would give back what he gets from Gordon McWhinge.

Plato's title challenge didn't start too well for once ...

Jordan seems more confident than ever

A race can only be extended by up to 3 laps.....imagine if there was a safety car out for 20 laps, add 20 laps to the race distance and the cars would run out of fuel

Not sure why, but it has certainly been this way for many years.

Marc Hynes excluded from race 2

is it me or do the stewards seem to be cracking down on driving standards ? they now apply grid drops and race exclusions instead of just points on license

About time too! But will they do the same if it's a top 3 position at stake? Hmm......

I hope so, didn't back off at all. Didn't do Jackson any favours on the straight either.

Some good racing in the third race though.

Just imagine what would've happened if Adam Morgan didn't swerve out of Plato's way when he made that outrageous lunge...
