Read elsewhere that STARD didn't give up on the Kia.

Why is not this car racing in Europe as it should?

With the Spa 24 hours confirmed for late October, this is how the calendar currently looks:

11/13 September – Zolder
25/27 September – Monza
09/11 October – Barcelona
22/24 October – Spa-Francorchamps
TBC – Paul Ricard (or other)
TBC – Jarama

Also, Homola was confirmed in the second Target Hyundai alongside Dani.

Pepe's move on Jessica Backman was dubious at best. If you send a car spinning down a straight, you'd better have a good reason, and not simply "I was frustrated." If it was no mechanical fault, I'd slap him with sitting out race 2 for that...

According to TCT, it was investigated but no action taken.

No action taken, so I assume it must be mechanical. Still, I'd like to hear the reasons behind why it all happened as it did...

Very disappointing season start. The commentator was there in tourism. Poor performance.

Briche having a nightmare of a season after being so impressive last year. Think the BOP is a little unfair on the Peugeots anyway this weekend.

Oriola has been disappointing too.

Lloyd and Halder seem to be the most consistent drivers so far (though only 3 rounds in!)

The Halder siblings are definitely making their switch from ADAC to TCR Europe work out!

The fact that they're only a comparatively small team with no engineers as such, makes it all the more remarkable.

Some pretty dodgy driving today, rather clumsy from a number of drivers. Nice to see Jelmini's speed from the Italian series translate over to the European and he didn't seem to be quite so erratic either.

I was sourprised to see Clairet going into the gravel when he seemed to have the control of the car to get in a safer position!

Poor showcase by Homola and Halder

Briche back to the win with a superior Peugeot, good race by Lloyd. Not surprised by Jelmini, he's a really good driver and he knows well the italian circuit. He's former champion in the Clio Cup Italy

Disappointed for Bennani, tha maroccan was really unlucky today

Not sure what Halder was thinking... seemed to drive straight into Homola twice rather than straightline the chicane.

Peugeots seemingly very quick after being very slow so far this season.

Yes, he took a strange line before entering the chicane. Maybe after the first contact he has damaged the steering or something else...

A fantastic win today for Mikel Azcona! Damp conditions in Race 1 at Spa, the spaniard made the right tyre choice with slicks in front and wet in the rear... but he drove an excellent race making overtakes while sliding with the car in fast corners; just brillant drive!!

A very competitive Coronel finished second, he couldn't resist to the speed of Azcona. A good 3rd place for Mike Halder, the championship leader. Bennani 6th, Lloyd 8th.

And welcome back to Nicola Baldan! Nice to see him in action in TCR Europe and a good score position, 9th after overtaking Oriola

In race 2 another win for Azcona.
Great racing (like often at Spa).
Let's not talk about track limits...
