Yep, slap a turbo or 2 on a crate motor with the dry sump pumps etc and go racing. The days of building bespoke engines for race cars are long past but apparently wasting money like this makes the series special or something like that. If they can't get 650 out of a crate motor then something is wrong because the average flat capper can on the street.
