Duscholux should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
I own 1 of approx. 4 built A.S.S. FSV.
A.S.S. stands for Andreas Stadler Schwetzingen. Based on a LolaT326,
Stadler modified the bodywork with sidepots and a special frontwing.
pics of the car: www.formel-super-vau.de (car is under restauration)

Lola never built a T720. The T620 was the last FSV Lola.

We drive in the hist. Formel Vau Europa: www.formel-vau.eu.

Next event: 50 years of Formula Vee Racing.
26. Jan. 2013 Daytona International Raceway.

regards
Rudi

Hi new to this. Ronnie grant is a customer of mine and after chatting today he's trying to track he's old car down. He's marbles are all there and still fit as a fiddle at 88 years old.

Finding Taurus

Hi guys need a little help. Ronnie wants to find and buy the Taurus. Slight problem, wouldn't have a clue where to start.
He sold it to a guy with the surname bailey who worked for LWT in its day.
Any ideas how to start tracking it down?
Cheers Steve.

Can't help with the Taurus, but great to hear Ronnie is well.

I ran a FF2000 Reynard for Mike Brett in the early 80's when Ronnie had his Delta. They had some good battles, I remember once at Cadwell Park both cars had tyre marks down both sides after the race. When I got back to the paddock they were laughing like two little kids reliveing every overtake (there had been lots). They had been diceing for about 18th place.
Happy days.

Finding Taurus

Ok, I think I can help. There was a Formula Vee racer called Michael Bailey who was a cameraman for ATV (latterly London Weekend Television). He bought Ronnie's Austro Vee at the end of 1971. So I assume this to be him. I know this because not only am I a Vee anorak but also, his son Steve told me. Coincidentally, Steve Bailey is racing in the current Formula Vee series. I have his email address and phone number.
I too am keen to re-unite Ronnie with the Taurus and his Austro (if he would recognise it) as I know where that is.

Hello There, I'm ronnie's son George and I love to speak with Steve. Could you connect me with him as I would dearly like to reunite my dad with the car/s

How is this all going? Have you made contact with Bailey Snr & Jnr yet?

I'd be happy to pass contact details on to him, if you like - or Steve is currently running one of the Formula Vee pages on Facebook:

https://www.facebook.com/FormulaVeeUK?ref=ts&fref=ts

He and another Vee/Super Vee driver Glenn Hay have had a few trade-offs swapping old pics - send me a friend invite and I'll link you to the album I uploaded them in!

In fact, this was September '71 at Silverstone:

Hello there, one Taurus is racing in Germany in the Historic Formula Vee Europe. I have seen a Taurus during the Historic Grand Prix in Zandvoort 2021. The car was racing under Lola but the chassis looks exactly like the Taurus.
